She was smitten
That was addition.
He didn't call or text,
She started to sulk
That was subtraction.
He had others,
She fooled by conformity /boyish charm
That was a fraction.
He started talking with come ons and probabilities,
She listened
That was probability leaning on a complicated equation.
She solved it all:
ME-HIM=ZERO.
Subtraction = move on.
Addition=Self- respect.
Probability= There's plenty more equations in the sea.
